What we collect when you visit our site, book a call or use our phone agents, and what we do with it.

Last updated October 14, 2026. Local Voice is operated by Social Uptick LLC.

The short version. We collect what you give us when you email us, fill out a form, book a call or sign up. We use it to answer you and run the service. We don't sell it.

Our AI phone agents record and transcribe calls for the businesses that hire us. Those recordings belong to that business. We keep them while the business is a client and delete them within 90 days after the account ends.

Who we are

Local Voice is operated by Social Uptick LLC, a Missouri limited liability company based in St. Louis, Missouri. In this policy, "Local Voice," "we" and "us" mean Social Uptick LLC.

We build AI phone agents that answer calls for local service businesses, and we do local SEO for those businesses. We also publish research and sell guides on our website, mylocalvoice.io.

Questions about this policy go to support@mylocalvoice.io.

Who this policy covers

This policy covers people who visit our website, contact us, book a call with us, buy from us or become a client. It also explains our limited role with callers who reach a business that uses a Local Voice phone agent.

If you called a business and an AI phone agent we built answered, that business decides what happens to your information. The section for callers below explains how that works.

What we collect

When you contact us

Our contact form asks for your name, your email and your message. If you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply.

When you book a call with us

Our booking form asks for your name, email and phone number, plus any notes you add and the time you pick. We use it to hold the time, send you the details and call you.

When you call our demo line

Our demo line is answered by an AI phone agent. It tells you that at the start of the call and that the call may be recorded. We record and transcribe demo calls, along with your phone number and the time of the call. We use them to follow up if you asked us to, and to improve the demo.

When you become a client

Your business details: business name, contact names, phone numbers, email, address, hours, service area, services and prices.

What your agent needs to know: the answers in your onboarding sheet, the content on your website and the rules for transfers and emergencies.

Access to the tools the agent connects to, such as your Google Calendar or scheduling software.

For local SEO clients: access to your Google Business Profile, website and reporting accounts.

Billing details. Payments go through our payment processor. We don't store full card numbers.

The calls your agent answers, covered in the next section.

When you buy a guide

We get your name, email and the details of your order. Payment goes through our payment processor. We use your email to deliver the guide and send updates to it.

When you use the missed call calculator

The calculator runs in your browser. We don't store or receive the numbers you enter.

When you visit our website

Our server records basic technical details with each visit. That includes your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of the visit. We use these logs to keep the site running and secure.

Our site loads its fonts from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. Our contact page shows a Google map, which loads from Google too. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy.

If you called a business that uses Local Voice

When a business hires us, we build an AI phone agent that answers some or all of its calls. At the start of every call, the agent says it is an automated assistant and that the call may be recorded.

During the call, the agent may collect your name, phone number, address, the service you need and the appointment time you choose. The call is recorded and transcribed. The agent may book you on the business's calendar. If you agree to it, the business may text you a confirmation.

We handle that information for the business, as its service provider. The business decides what to collect and how to use it. Its own privacy policy applies. We use caller information only to run and improve that business's agent. We don't sell it, and we don't use it to market to you. We don't use call recordings or transcripts to train AI models.

If you want a copy of a call or want it deleted, contact the business you called. If you contact us instead, we'll pass your request to that business and help them answer it.

How we use information

To answer your messages and hold the calls you book.

To build, run and improve the phone agents and SEO work our clients pay for.

To read call transcripts and fix the agent's answers. A person on our team does this, and we do it only for that client's agent.

To bill clients and keep business and tax records.

To send emails you'd expect, such as booking confirmations, reports and guide updates.

To send occasional marketing emails to people who contacted us or bought from us. Every one has an unsubscribe link.

To keep our site and service secure and to follow the law.

We don't sell personal information. We don't share it for ad targeting across other companies' sites and apps.

Text messages

We send texts only to people who asked for them or agreed to get them, for example by saying yes when an agent offers a text confirmation. Texts include appointment confirmations, reminders and replies to a question. Texts sent for a business that uses a Local Voice agent come from that business.

Message frequency varies with your bookings and questions.

Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to stop texts. Reply HELP for help, or email support@mylocalvoice.io.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

Cookies

When you first visit, a banner asks which optional cookies you accept. You can change your choice from the banner at any time.

Right now our site does not load advertising pixels or third-party analytics. If we add them, they will run only after you accept them in the banner, and we will update this policy first.

Our site doesn't change how it works when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. Use the cookie banner to turn optional cookies off.
