Free tools and data
Every Local Voice resource in one place
Start with the question you have. Each resource links to the studies and pages behind it.
Missed call calculator
Enter the calls you miss and your average job value. The calculator shows the sales you lose each month, each year and per missed call. Its defaults come from published studies, and you can change any of them.
Calling behavior data
Missed call statistics for local service businesses. Every figure names the organization, report, date and sample, with a link to the original. Numbers we can't trace stay off the page, even popular ones.
Answering service by industry
How an AI answering service handles the calls your trade gets: the questions it asks, which calls go to your on-call tech and what common jobs are worth. Pick your trade to see its page.
Service area pages
Pages for the cities we serve, with local call data and a local phone number. We add a city once we have clients there and data specific to that market. St. Louis comes first.
Find the right page
Which resource answers your question?
Match your question to the page built to answer it.
How much are missed calls costing me?
Sales lost each month, each year and per missed call, with defaults for your trade.
Do callers leave a voicemail or call someone else?
The published figures, each with the organization, date and sample behind it.
How many calls come in after hours?
After-hours call figures, such as ServiceTitan's data on residential HVAC shops.
How would an AI phone agent handle calls in my trade?
Sample calls, routing rules for urgent jobs and average job values for your trade.
What does an AI answering service cost next to a live one?
Our pricing next to voicemail, live answering services and a receptionist on staff.
Do you cover my city?
Service area pages are coming. Until then, email support@mylocalvoice.io and we'll tell you.
How we check a number
Every number here traces back to its source.
The same rules cover the calculator's defaults, the call data and every industry page. If a figure can't be traced to the study it came from, we don't use it.
We read the original study, not a blog post that quotes it.
We name the organization, report, date and sample next to every figure.
Numbers we work out ourselves are labeled as Local Voice calculations.
Each page shows the date its figures were last checked.
Are these resources free?
Yes. The missed call calculator, the call data and the industry pages are free to use. You don't need to be a Local Voice client.
Where do the numbers come from?
Third-party figures come from published studies and surveys, and each one links to the original. Numbers we calculate ourselves are labeled as Local Voice calculations, and the page shows the math.
Can I cite your data?
Yes. For a third-party figure, cite the original study. For our calculations or our own research, link to the page and name Local Voice as the source.
Do you have a page for my city?
Not yet. We're adding service area pages one city at a time, starting with St. Louis. Each one will carry call data and details specific to that market. Email support@mylocalvoice.io to ask about coverage where you are.
